Rush Properties has owned and managed residential property in New York City and on Long Island for over forty-five years. It is a third generation family-owned and managed business. We are a small hands-on firm. Our firm has its roots in management, real estate development and construction. Presently, our primary focus is on management. We are owners ourselves, so we manage for others the same way we take care of our own buildings.
The firm principal, Richard Rush, started as a real estate attorney and has been in property management for over 25 years. Our property managers have decades of experience in property management and construction. Our Controller, oversees the accounting department and has many years of experience in financial, bookkeeping, and computer systems specifically related to property management. We manage over twenty residential properties with about eight hundred residential units.
Because of the size and structure of our firm, we can provide individualized attention that sets us apart from other management firms. Our hallmarks are responsiveness in communications with ownership and persistence in seeing projects through to completion. We take full advantage of the state-of-the-art technology in billing and collection, invoice payment and financial record keeping and reporting. Our experience allows us to run smooth operating properties and communities.
